Converting AA-sized batteries into C or D-size batteries is easy; simply place one AA-sized battery into the appropriate converter and the unit can be used as a C or D-sized battery. High energy Alkaline batteries or Nickel Metal Hydride (niMH) batteries are recommended for use in these converters.
