Anyware Computer Accessories is pleased to announce the release of the Compro Technology VideoMate E650 and E800 DVB-T TV Tuners, which join the E700 in the growing stable of Compro Vista-Certified PCI-Express TV Tuners.
Ever wished you could find a useful peripheral to utilize that vacant PCI-E slot on your PC? Well now you can have free-to-air 1080i HDTV-quality digital terrestrial TV and universal analogue TV/FM broadcasts to your desktop PC with either the E650 or E800 PCI-E TV Tuners!

The E800 is a hybrid PCI-Express DVB-T and analogue TV/FM TV tuner card with powerful real-time hardware MPEG-2 encoding. The hardware will allow the user to record to DVD full-D1 / MPEG-2 TV shows and timeshift for instant replay of live TV without heavy loading on the CPU, similar to how a high-end DVD recorder would operate.
All PCI and PCI-E Compro TV tuners possess a very attractive Compro-exclusive feature called S5/S4/S3 mode Power-Up Scheduled Recording. This facility means that you can program your Compro TV tuner to record content on your PC when you’re away. The PC will turn on, record your desired footage and then turn off once complete. Watching your favourite shows has never been so easy.
In addition, both models come bundled with great software (such as Compro DTV3, ComproDVD 2 and Ulead PhotoExplorer 8.5 SE) for watching digital and analogue TV, enjoy your favourite DVD movies as well as managing your multimedia files; Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4 SE for DVD authoring and Compro FM2 for FM radio listening and MP3 recording.
The new VideoMate cards are available for purchase in Australia now. The COMP-E650 retails for $130 and the COMP-E800 retails for $207.
