Anyware Computer Accessories appointed Exclusive Distributor of Compro Technology TV Tuners in Australia and New Zealand

Compro Technology, a leading manufacturer and marketer of multimedia products has appointed Anyware Computer Accessories as its exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand.  Anyware Computer Accessories has been distributing Compro TV Tuners for some time but the official announcement means that the exclusivity can now be formalised.

Garrison Huang, Anyware Computer Accessories’ Managing Director said that he is very pleased for Anyware to be Compro-exclusive in A/NZ. “I believe Compro TV Tuners to be a very strong and beneficial addition to the Anyware product family”, Huang commented. “Compro TV Tuners have been present in A/NZ for a few years already and during this time have become the brand of choice for many dealers and home-entertainment enthusiasts alike. Compro TV Tuners have a very prestigious reputation in the market-place and have won numerous awards and received great recognition from the media and users alike”, Huang added. The Anyware MD is certain that there is much potential in A/NZ to develop Compro’s exposure and reputation further, thus benefitting both Anyware and Compro.

The current Compro range which Anyware is distributing includes PCI digital tuners, PCI dual digital and analogue tuners, PCI-E dual digital tuners, PCMCIA digital and analogue tuners, USB 2.0 tuner sticks and analogue VGA boxes with gaming and HDMI capabilities. The range is set to expand shortly with a new selection of tuners, all of which will be Vista certified, naturally.

Compro TV Tuners with PCI or PCI-E interface possess a unique capability called Power-Up Scheduled Recording. This facility means that you can program your TV Tuner to record content on your PC when you’re away. The PC will turn on, record your desired footage and then turn off once complete. This means there’s no excuse to miss your favourite shows, regardless of where you are!
